Experience

I first began tutoring in 2012 in music theory and contemporary guitar. Since then I've taught guitar and music theory to well over 100 students at four different music schools, as well as teaching privately on the side. Many of my younger students have completed ANZCA music exams with high distinctions, while my older students went through VCE music or needed help entering into tertiary music education. These days, I'm more interested in teaching composition, music theory, music production, and the art of music for media because composing music is what I do for a living! I've worked on various short film and corporate commercial projects which include clients like Pancake Parlour and Eaoron. In 2014, I won the international Tropscore film-scoring competition, and I was also nominated as a finalist for best soundtrack in the international 'My Rode Reel' short film competition.

Eating really good food... all the time. I dabble in videography as well. I work occasionally as a videographer for weddings and fashion shoots. I've also been volunteering as a photographer/videographer for 'Officially K-Music' where I get to film interviews on Korean pop stars who come down to Melbourne.
