Experience
Over 5 years experience as a specialist art and design teacher and tutor for all ages. I currently teach in a secondary school and I am an arts education Victoria councilor. Hence, I am well informed with the art and design Victorian curriculum. I also have the privilege to run and be involved in running practical and theory based workshops for teachers and students. I have extensive experience tutoring and teaching visual communication design, studio art, art, fashion and textiles of all ages, as well as special needs and VCE students. I am a teacher and a tutor because I have passion for teaching art and design subjects. Thus I also have knowledge, practical skills and experience in a variety of areas in the art/design domain and I enjoy fostering students education in the art and design sector. I strive to help my students achieve the best that they can and help them develop a rich folio of work by applying a design process, develop and apply technical and creative art/design skills and techniques using variable resources such as art material and tools, ICT. I also help with written and oral assessment tasks.
